December 11, 2009 - an uber success for mwl...
mwl has seen a 10% sales uplift following the commission of uber to introduce a marketing step change programme, a successful independent one stop shop for all aspects of IT including consultancy, infrastructure, applications and support.
Patrick Kingsley-Williams, Managing Director at mwl says; “uber’s step change project has taken our business to the next level allowing us to engage more with our private sector corporate clients, as well as developing relationships with North West & North Wales SME businesses. We are confident our growth will continue in a similar vein over the next 12 months.”
As accredited partners of companies such as Microsoft, Sage and VMware, mwl deliver proven technology tailored to business needs across North West and North Wales in both the private and public sectors.
Sarah Cross, uber MD comments; “We devised a strategy to raise mwl’s profile in the NW and Wales, developing processes, procedures and tools for outbound business development and communications.
“We were also tasked with the objectives of increasing the percentage of their business that comes from the corporate private sector within a year, and to put processes in place to assist with cross selling to existing customers and improve internal communications.”
A subsequent marketing plan involved a brand refresh, a new of method communicating their proposition and a mission statement, as well as a communications planner testing several different media platforms, an internal sales coaching programme with the team and executive board, an innovative customer referral programme to encourage referrals and customer retention, and the introduction of a new sales process.
